So very proud of you.

I am always SO happy when I get scrappy mail from Kimberley at Hip 2B Square Scrapbooking.
I really love how well she mixes paper lines and how she pairs soft colors, with pops of red & black.
As you can see, this kits suits my scrappy style very well and I had LOTS of fun with the versatality of this one. You can snag your kit HERE very soon!!

On this page of my hubby, I went with more masculine colors from the kit and popped it a bit with some red.
I also made use of the very ample supply of Studio Calico Veneer buttons that came with the embellishment add on to create a border.

On this page (pardon the silly pic of yours truly -it was taken on New Year's Eve MANY MANY moons ago ;) ) I played with the Jillibean soup corrugated frames and added some coordinating papers & embellies to add some detail to them. And yes, you will see I am HUGE fan of yellow on this page.

AND as promised, with the help of a random generator,
I have a scrappy RAK for Heather C. from yesterday's post.
Heather, please email me your snail mail addy at cindysinfo (at) hotmail (dot) com.
Thank you for all of your kind words-I really do love hearing from you and read every comment :)

Thanks for popping by!
I have a few more fun projects to share tomorrow :)
Happy Tuesday!

So Long, Farewell....

....Auf Wiedersehen, goodnight
I hate to go and leave this pretty sight.

As soon as I started writing this post, this song from the Sound of Music popped into my head (BTW, I may be the only person in the free world who has never seen it much to my darling husband's dismay).

But I digress. As usual. :) If you have just happened here, we are having a farewell bog hop at My Little Shoebox. You should start at THIS blog.

Can you believe how quickly 9 months has FLOWN BY?? I have to admit that I am a bit sad to be leaving this FABULOUS team and leaving this OH SO GENEROUS and just AWESOME company (I have seriously had a crush on My Little SHoebox scrappy supplies for quite some time & Miss Helen sure knows how to design stuff that lights my scrappy fire). But, on a positive note, I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, so I will leave you with that happy thought and some of my favorite MLS projects.

(`Thanks sew much`card)

(Arrows are pointing to Donald Trump ;) Sorry the photo is so dark)

Both of these projects are using the new Farmer`s Market line  and are easily my new fave line from MLS.

I didn`t intend to add so many images but once I got looking through my past projects, I had a REALLY hard time narrowing it down. I guess when you use a product you love, you make projects that you love too.

So if you are still with me, THANK YOU.
I have a little prize to give away but I need you to help me out first.
* follow me on my blog
AND
*leave me a comment on this post that you did by midnight EST tonight

and I will randomly pick a person tomorrow to receive this little bunch of MLS deliciousness.
Be sure to check back then!

Now please make sure to hop all the way to the end (the talented Deanna Misner is next on the hop) to be eligible for another MLS prize.

Thank you Miss Helen and the MLS team!
I have had a ball working with you!!

Toothless Grin

8.5 x 11".
I never thought I would scrap this size. But suddenly, my house is becoming crammed with 12x12 LOs/albums. I use the American Crafts D ring albums now too-which are a bit more expensive but make adding to your albums SO MUCH EASIER-really worth the investment. And then I thought- isn't a school binder the same idea but SMALLER? And aren't 8.5x11" page protecters cheaper less expensive???
After I came to that conclusion, I found these SWEET kraft albums in the back-to-school section at Zellers and altered it up (with ATD/Momenta products) with the purpose of filling it with Little Man's kindergarten pages.

This 8.5 x 11" page is about Little Man losing his first tooth.

Supplies: Core'dinations cardstock, Crate Paper paper & chipboard elements, Jillibean Soup tiny alphas, Sassafras alphas, Martha Stewart punch & twine, My Mind's Eye Lush ribbon.

Thanks for popping by!
Happy Friday!

Cel Phone Snap Shots

Last weekend, I had THE.BEST.TIME!! at a scrappy retreat put on by A Pile of Scrap (Thanks again Alissa for such a FAB event!!). I think I got between 6-8 hrs of sleep total all weekend but who cares-I had some GREAT laughs & girl talk with some great friends and even got a bit of scrapping in. ;)

On Friday night, Tracey issued a challenge to me.
She wanted me to use her 'un-christened' stamp of hers on a LO.
Of course, I HAD to take the challenge (the stamp is GORGEOUS albeit a bit on the large side) and used it on the LO below.

As you can see, I am going through a bit of a misting phase (about 2 years after everyone else has started  ;) ) but I think it really suits the paper line I used.
The pic is of Little Man last summer. We were on a very hot bus ride, going to his soccer game and trying to pass the time. He was really hamming it up and then commanded me to photograph him. I am so glad some days that my cel phone has a camera in it (even if the pics aren't always the best quality). It's nice to get these cute moments of his.

Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock, MME Good Day Sunshine papers, die cuts & stickers, Bingo stamp by Stampin' Up, Black Stazon, Maya Mist in orange, Heidi Swapp Circle Mask, My Little Shoebox chipboard alphas, Cosmo Cricket tiny type alphas, black Zig pen.

This next LO is a pic that Little Man took with my phone of his shadow last Summer (**if you look closely at the bottom of the pic, you can see where his finger is partially covering the camera lense :) :) ). I knew right away I would do a LO with it but only recently thought of how I would work it in on a LO. What can I say? I really miss the company of my little buddy while he is at school :( .

Supplies: Papers are Kaiser (polka dot) & ? ? ? (does anyone recognize that gorgeous zigzag? I can't remember the brand for the life of me & I just bought it-YIKES). Cardstock (all colors) is Bazzill, Stickers & colorful alphas are Echo Park, Yellow alphas are Cosmo Cricket, Black alpahs are Basic Grey, Felt monsters are Sassafras.
That's all I have for now but I have some more projects to share tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy THURSDAY!

Using my stash

It's always such a happy day when I get to rummage through my stuff and put together a LO just for fun and this is one of those projects.
On this one, I used ALOT of goodies I have been holding on to:
Heidi Swapp Masks, Tattered Angels Mist (in patina), Jellibean Soup papers, alphas AND sprouts & American Crafts flowers from the Dear Lizzy line.

More Jillibean SOup goodness on the above card and mini alpha beads from the Dollar Store.
I love these little finds that I get there!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by, I hope you are having a FAB Friday!

Lucky

Happy St Patricks Day!
Since I am 1/4 Irish and live in a town with the third largest Irish population in the world (with Boston in second and Ireland in first place ;) ) St. Patty's Day has always been a special day to me.

I don't have any LOs that reflect my Irish hertiage & pride (hmmmmm.... maybe I should though)
but this (older vintage) little LO about my 2 favorite boys and a rainbow is the closet I can come to a
St Patrick's day layout.

Thanks for popping in and have a LUCKY day!

Sew Cute!

It's always such a treat for me when my pages and cards are posted at the MLS Blog. There is always tonnes of eye candy there featured from my team-mates and absolutely worth the visit! Make sure to stop by and say HI!

Today, I was happy to see my Sew Cute projects featured. I did 2 layouts and 2 cards so far with this sweet line. I was a bit concerned as to how I was going to work this line around my 'guy' pics but as you can see, with a play on words it is totally workable! The vibrant colors of this line definately make it one of my personal faves!

The above LO is of Little Man hiding amongst the walll of BOAS at the Dollar Store.
Such a little Ham :)

The pic in this LO is of my 2 boys a few years ago.
I have been feeling a bit nostalgic lately since I have realized that my little guy is no longer the cute little toddler he used to be but now the sweet & funny, more serious and more mature little kindergartener.
I am so happy that he is growing & learning (and that his behaviour is improving--FINALLY!!)
but OH how I miss my 'baby' these days.

Last but not least, I have a couple of cards that I put together as well.
(the inside reads: Thanks 'sew much'!)

Thanks for popping in!
Have a Happy Tuesday!

MLS March Sketch Challenge

Can you believe how fast March is going??
The mountains of snow are all but gone and I can see my hedges and lawn again.
It is so nice to walk and not fear of slipping on ice or snow.
I think this is the pick me up I have been so needing these past days.

Me and my friends over at My Little Shoebox are hosting a sketch challenge this month (designed by the OH SO TALENTED Aphra Bolyer!)

I wasn't able to play along with this one but I plan on doing this rocking sketch and have it in my sketch pile.
You can see the details on the challenge HERE at the My Little Shoebox blog.
I hope you can play along!

HAPPY SPRING!!!

Hip Cards for January

As promised, here are the rest of the projects that I made with my January Hip kit.
We did a card sketch based on a sketch from Pagemaps (cardmaps 2010)

**see card below**
This is an altered package from a tiny little gift box of chocolates (and yes, I am going through a baker's twine phase but it really adds that small little bit of detail that I think these projects need.)

And this last tag also includes the new stamp sentiment from My Little SHoebox. I love the clean fonts that Helen used for her stamps for this newest release.

Thanks for checking in on me, I have been scrapping like crazy but I can't share just yet. :)
Have a happy Thursday!
